Start up the BBQ!
Memorial Day weekend…YAY!! It’s the official start of the summer . Beaches, picnics and of course BBQ’s, they are all on the itinerary. Many of us will be having our first outdoor BBQ’s this weekend and we will be on the lookout for something new and exciting to serve up from the BBQ! Gourmet burgers are a good place to start.
Forget about those frozen burger patties, why not mix it up with a fresh new burger recipe! That is exactly what I did with this burger. For this original recipe, I have added some of my favorite summer flavors mixed with some quality angus beef, added a burger seasoning and I had one great burger.
It’s All in the Seasoning
A few years ago I discovered a great steak and burger seasoning mix. Now that I have tried it, I wouldn’t consider making burgers without it. It has the perfect combination of spices that bring out the flavor of the meat. Every time I use it in my burgers, people comment on how good they are. My secret seasoning is Olde Thompson Steak & Burger Seasoning, 6-Ounce Grinders (Pack of 2)
So with beef, basil and feta cheese, it’s a taste of the Mediterranean right on your burger bun!!
Not in the mood for beef burgers tonight? Try this one instead Pepper- Jack Fish Cakes.
