Very easy and delicious pizza dough recipe.
Combine water, yeast, and sugar in mixing bowl. Let sit until foamy
Sift together salt and flour and add to mixing bowl. Mix together on low speed for 2 minutes using a dough hook attachment.
Turn mixer up to next speed and continue mixing for 5 minutes, or until dough is soft, stretchy and pliable.
Dough will pull completely away from the sides of the bowl and form a ball when ready
If you're not using a stand mixer, knead dough by hand for 10 minutes on a lightly floured surface.
Place dough in oiled bowl and turn to coat dough with oil.
Cover with a damp towel. Put dough in a warm spot and allow to rise for about an hour. Dough should be doubled in size.
* I use the proof setting in my oven. If you do not have a proof setting in your oven you can turn oven on to 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes then turn off and place the dough in the oven to rise. In warmer weather, you can leave the bowl on the counter to rise
Spread dough on greased baking sheet.
Put your favorite toppings on your pizza dough and bake in very hot oven for 10-15 minutes. ( I use oven at highest heat, and bake on second lowest rack)
